About Me

After earning a BA with honors in Psychology from California State University San Marcos, I settled in the heart of Florida’s Creative Coast—Pine Island. My husband and I live on a ten acre palm tree farm with our two wonderful daughters, an eighty pound boxer who thinks he’s a lap dog, an overweight cat who thinks he’s a dog, and a slew of other exotic animals.

Why epilepsy?

After my daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy, I went in search of a fun and exciting novel she could enjoy featuring a protagonist with a medical condition. Epilepsy would have been ideal, but any medical issue would offer the encouragement I sought. The book I was looking for didn’t exist—so I began writing.
